Roto Manufacturing Plant Wins Prestigious Industrial Excellence Award for Best Factory of Germany for 2010

Roto Frank of America would like to congratulate the employees at Roto's roof window manufacturing plant in Bad Mergentheim, Germany! This plant has recently been selected as the best factory of Germany for 2010. This Industrial Excellence Award is known throughout Germany as the most demanding and most renowned international industry competition and has been awarded to notable companies over the past 15 years, such as BMW, Siemens and Fujitsu.

For the first time in the 15 year history of the award, a manufacturer from the building material industry has been chosen. The roof window plant has been cited for operating within a highly efficient, synchronic production system that is up-to-date with technology, maintains short through-put and lead times and lean inventory levels. In addition, the high level of employee involvement, enthusiasm and motivation in the overall business were key factors in awarding Roto this distinctive honor.
